About Kevin Hart

Kevin Hart, also known as “Lil’ Rel” early in his career, is an American comedian and actor who became one of the world’s highest-paid entertainers. He’s famous for his stand-up comedy specials like “Laugh at My Pain” and blockbuster movies including “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,” “Central Intelligence,” and the “Ride Along” series. Hart has won multiple People’s Choice Awards, received several NAACP Image Awards, and was named one of Time Magazine’s most influential people. He stands 5 feet 4 inches tall, a height he frequently jokes about in his comedy routines and has confirmed in numerous interviews, saying

I’m 5’4″ and I own it.

His height has become part of his comedic brand and he embraces it as a signature part of his personality.

On Instagram on Tuesday, February 02, 2016, Kevin said:

When your small you roll with small people…I embrace my height damn it!!!! I wouldn’t be who I am without this amazing 5’4inch body of mine ….Major thank you to the Minion’s for showing me around “Universal Studios Singapore” today. I had a blast as usual.

In a tweet, he once mentioned:

Short men that need shit like this are the true definition of weak!!! I EMBRACE my height damn it…I love …

During a 2024 interview with Anderson Cooper on CNN’s 60 Minutes, Kevin mentioned:

Well, that place is bulls–t,” Hart replied. “GQ finally got it right. [I’m] 5-foot-5, like with a shoe on, like a sneaker. Now, if I put a boot on, I can get to 5’5 and a half.

I’ve also been drinking a lot of milk and getting taller lol! I’m like 5 foot 5 now.

Height is Nothing. Personality is the best and biggest thing that you can have. You can be the tallest person in the world, with the smallest personality. Confidence is what defines how tall you really are.
